As I tell my clients, no wedding is too big or too small; in over 15 years of shooting weddings I've seen it all, from brief afternoon services with guests you can count on two hands, to day long events with hundreds in attendance. And while not the largest wedding I've ever covered, Maria and Josip's was definitely one of the more epic. The celebration started in high gear first thing in the morning, with the customary "buying of the bride", and never let up, as we traveled from the east side back downtown to St. Paul's Croatian church, out to the West Bank of the Flats, where the downpour let up long enough for a beautiful photo session, and on to the American-Croatian Lodge in Eastlake. Friends and relatives gathered from the old country and the new to celebrate a beautiful and memorable wedding.
