No Exit New Music Ensemble
Creating portraits for Cleveland’s No Exit New Music Ensemble was both a creative challenge and great pleasure. Working with director Timothy Beyer, we wanted to capture a certain early 20th century surrealist mood. These portraits, shot on real black & white film, invoke the fascination with the subconscious dream-state that informed the work of such artists such as Man Ray, Dora Maar, and Claude Cahun.
