Carrie and Nik: St. Sava Wedding

An intimate Serbian wedding may sound like an oxymoron, but that's exactly how Nik and Carrie wanted it when they tied the knot at St. Sava's Serbian Orthodox Church in Broadview Heights. A modest gathering of family and friends rounded out the Sunday afternoon, witnessing the beautiful Orthodox ceremony. Nik, himself a professional baritone, could be heard punctuating the choir's singing throughout the service. And as the incense hung in the air, a timeless transcendence filled the sanctuary. Afterwards the wedding party and guests danced a kolo on the steps of the church, before retiring to the hall for the reception.
