Progressive Arts Alliance RHAPSODY Summer Hip Hop Camp

I had the pleasure and honor of documenting this year's Progressive Arts Alliance's RHAPSODY Summer Hip Hop Camp. The camp is a two-week intensive program which features hands-on workshops that allow students to learn more about the history and aesthetic expressions of hip-hop culture, including DJing, MCing, dance, and graffiti art. The two week workshop, hosted at the Idea Center, culminated in a performance featuring all of the students in the Idea Center Black Box Theater. The intensity and range of creativity and skill was incredible, especially spread out over so many different disciplines in such a short period of time.
