Cliché Verre: Scaled Factor

A natural progression from the drawing-to-photogram process is the cliché verre process, creating components through drawing, and using those in combination with other elements in the final photogram. These pieces are silver gelatin based prints; created on traditional light sensitive black and white photographic paper, the composition is laid out on the paper in the darkroom under safelight conditions, and then exposed, processed, and fixed. The final images are 30”x30”.
